MUMS  Senior Ministry (Memorial United Methodist Seniors)

The MUMS are very involved at Memorial UMC. We meet the 4th Monday in the Chapel at 1 pm each month and the meetings always include a schedule speakers or in-house activity. In addition to their monthly meeting, they plan a monthly outing. This can be anything from a trip to an interesting place with historical, educational, inspirational, or just for fun value, and of course, a place to eat. There is a signup sheet in the office, with deadline for participation for the monthly outings. The focus on MUMS is to promote a caring, sharing, loving atmosphere, undergirded always with prayer.

Vesper Service (Sunday Night)

VESPERtime is an evening worship service…very informal, laity-led. We sing favorite hymns and worship songs that you request; share prayer requests and praises; and finish with a brief devotion. We meet at 6 pm on Sunday evenings in the chapel. Some enjoy going out for fellowship with dinner and/or dessert afterward, but that part is totally optional. Everyone is invited…the more the merrier!
