Infant and Child Care Options

Here at Memorial UMC we have a variety of fee-based child care options available to the Elizabethtown community.

Day Care/ Preschool Program

Our Day Care/ Preschool program offfers care for children in a variety of settings from the ages of 2 years old up to kindergarten. The Day Care program is a full-time state-licensed program that intersperses age appropriate learning session with playtime and other fun activities. Our Preschool program is designed for for 3 year olds on Thursdays and Fridays 9:00am – Noon and for 4 year olds Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00am – Noon.

3 year olds have a socialization atmosphere, team work lessons. 4 year old preschool is a readiness program. It’s like kindergarten prep!

Fees are as follows:

  • Day Care: Registration fee, $20; Weekly fee, $85
  • Preschool: $90.00 per month for 4 year olds; $70.00 per month for 3 year olds

Memorial Angels Childcare

Memorial United Methodist Church offers full time and part time child care for ages 6 weeks to 12 years.  They also offer a Before and After- School Program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade during the school season.  Hours of operation are 6am – 6pm. Fees are set by age of infant and preschool age children.

Before and After School Care

Before School Care begins at 6:00am until BUS pick-up for the following schools in the 2009-2010 school year:

  • All Elizabethtown Independent Schools
  • G.C. Burkhead

After School Care begins at 2:30 – 6:00pm. There is a BUS drop-off service from the following schools for the 2009 – 2010 school year:

  • All Elizabethtown Independent Schools
  • G.C. Burkhead
  • St. James

Fee Schedule for the Before School Care program is as follows:

  • Enrollment Fee – $15.00
  • Full Time – $15.00 per week   ($10.00 if they also participate in After school care)
  • Part Time (less than 3 days) – $4.00 per day

Fee Schedule for the After School Care program is as follows:

  • Enrollment Fee – $35.00
  • Full Time – $30.00 per week
  • Part Time (less than 4 days) – $7.00 per day

Summer Care Program (for school aged children when shool is out for summer break)

The Summer Program starts as soon as school is dismissed for the summer and is open from 6:00am – 6:00pm.

Fee Schedule for the Summer Program is:

  • Enrollment Fee – $45.00
  • Full Time – $70.00 per week
  • Part Time less than 4 days – $15.00 per day

First Child – $70.00 each per week
Second Child – $60.00 each per week
